My regret is not buying more in the more structured past vintages. I’m down to singletons or just a couple bottles at this point.
I would like to believe I have been at least partially responsible for encouraging you in this direction.

My source received the wrong inventory so it’s only 6 bottles of the 2021. Getting 6 x 2019 BdV to complement that at least haha. Still may try to buy a full case from Saratoga or somewhere else. Going big on 2021 based on the few nebbiolo I’ve tried so far.

So the heirarchy is “Les Commandeurs” - “Cuvee des Commandeurs” - “Clos Peyrassol” ?
The bottle that is pictured on the store’s website is described as the cuvee. In the actual store, I grabbed the only Peyrassol with the name commandeurs and it was the les version .
I didn’t pick up on the distinction until your post.
Did you-do your planned taste off between the two yet?

Chateau Peyrassol is mostly Cinsault, own fruit, 19eur
Les Commandeurs is mostly Grenache, negoce, 14.5eur
There is another (expensive!) bottling on the very top of the hierarchy, Peyrassol 1204 (first official vintage of the estate!)
I had those two side by side. I found them both a bit hollow (possibly over the hill, the recommendation is to drink them within 1-2 yers). The Chateau had more substance and we preferred it over the Commandeurs.

OK, maybe a bit but I stand by my picks! Too early in the season for Rayas and big Burgundy guns though, those come later …
Sancerre Agisson Equilibre was a strong recommendation of the Caviste, along with Sylvain Boton Bourgueil.

FWIW We opened the 2024 “Les Commandeurs” tonight and it was very enjoyable. Dry wine, tasty fruit including melon, a bit of herbal stuff. On the lighter side but very flavorful. For dinking alone and also went fabulously with our dinner of chicken schnitzel and vegetable rice salad a la “Silver Palate” . I ‘d recommend this young 2024 version. ~$22
