What is YOUR most recent wine purchase? (Part 2)

What do you mean, price?

what is your impression of the Germain Meursault AOC? Curious before investing in any of the 1er Crus…

Yeah, price. It seems like nothing goes from reasonable to infinity like White Burg. Look at what’s happened to Vincent Dancer, Bernard-Bonin etc etc etc.

I love the entire range. I’d definitely pick up any recent vintage of the Germain Meursault AOC villages if you’re curious. His 17s, 18s, and 19s are all superb. It’s a William Kelley favorite too. I typically buy the villages and the Charmes. I’d love to buy the Perrieres but it’s essentially impossible to find.

The '19 Meursault Charmes is fantastic. I recently had the '20 Meursault (village) and was less impressed and will probably stick to the 1ers.

I went to a rarely frequented LWS (actually it’s more of a wine bar) because I heard they had some Prevost.

I picked up the last LC19 and noticed that there were 5 bottles of Roumier sitting around at release prices (avg price was little over 200 and got a a 10% discount on top)

2017 MSD La Bussiere x2
2018 Chambolle village x1
2019 MSD La Bussiere x2

You know that feeling when you find a great deal and it’s like sitting on pocket aces?
