As I’m eating lunch in a lovely restaurant in the nearby village, i overhear that the table next to me has a triple reason to celebrate: the dad just had a kidney transplant and the wife was the donor, the dad is celebrating is 70th and the daughter just had a son. I decide to share my Sociando with the wife and daughter (What bottle of wine did you open today? (Part 2) - #2469 by Phil_T_r_o_t_t_e_r). Obviously, the dad is abstaining. We get to talking and the owner joins us. She had let me know that they would sell some bottles from the cellar but wasn’t sure when. She decides to give me a sneak peak.
The prices were respectable and I like this restaurant and wanted to participate. My haul:
