What is the Greatest Wine this Board has Introduced you to

This…and German Rieslings in general.

Not much else I really didn’t already have a handle on that I like.

Clos des Briords and other fine Muscadets.

Maybach, without a doubt.
Myriad/Quivet
August West

Charles Shaw

Ironically it was your enthusiasm for Muscadet that motivated me to try some. But I think that technically was in eBob though.

I could also answer Jouan and Truchot but those were also from private PMs on eBob.

For this board, maybe its Mugneret-Gibourg or Foillard.

I can’t pick one…

Arcadian, Tercero, and Rhys

Rhys and Bedrock

I’m not a high roller, so Cabot and Sidori/Novy will have to suffice.

Bedrock & Cru Beaujolais.

Would like to say Rhys, but still on the waitlist.

Quite a few great wines…but the biggest and happiest surprises were Halcon and Cabot [wow.gif]

Long list - Anthill, Rhys, Poe, Ceritas, Kutch, Zepaltas, Sojourn…

Bize Savigny Les Beaune Aux Vergelesses Rouge: my introduction to Burg
Clos Saron
Lagier Meredith

Maybach, Rhys, and Ceritas were great recommendations found during my lurking phase here.

If you like Cabot, you’d like Gonon. Gonon and its St. Joseph peers are just a few bucks more (roughly $35). Faury makes very nice syrah for about $20 and change, too.

Thomas Winery.

So far the 2009 Black Sears Estate Zinfandel is the top wine I’ve bought from a recommendation on the board.
Although I haven’t opened any of the Bedrock, Keating, Lagier Meredith, or Tercero this board has introduced me to, I don’t want them to be unacknowledged. I’m sure I’ll be adding them to the list shortly.

If you’re ordering more from Chambers, definitely check out Domaine Barrou. The Saint Joseph is fantastic and only $20.

Huet, Austrian Riesling, Bevan, Myriad, Rudius, Produttori de Barbaresco, Cru Beaujolais, are all fantastic wines I very likely would have not found on my own.

The ‘Greatest’ is probably Hirtzberger Singerriedel.

Scholium Project, hands down. Not only are the wines fascinating, but Abe’s winemaking philosophy inspired some real paradigm shifts in my views on wine.

Tell me about the Scholium Project. What is his philosophy?
