What do You Drink While Watching Football?

I tend to drink sparkling wine (or at least start off with it). The rest depends upon how my team is doing.

k.

It’s 10am, just finished coffee. Late games get a Zin or Syrah if I open something.

Is baseball close enough? Beer -IPA. After that a Ridge, Scherrer, Bedrock Zin. So, for me, dark ink is the choice.

College: bloody marys; beer

NFL: beer; whisky

Enjoying a Cherry Coke Zero and some leftover pizza.

My wife and I watch football with our friends most Sundays and I’m the only person really into wine so I drink beer almost always. Today/tonight, we’re home just us. Maybe I’ll open something, but I doubt it since it’s Sunday and we’re both tired.

Football starts a 7am here in Hawaii. I drink coffee.

Beer, usually. Today, a growler of Rogue double chocolate stout.

Yesterday I watched the Nebraska-Purdue game with a group of Cornhusker fans at Sammy’s Tap and Grill in Raleigh. I’m not really a beer fan (did drink some dunkel biers when I lived in Germany) so I asked about wines by the glass. Pinot Noir was mentioned but it turned out they were out of the Pinot. Then I requested the Penfolds Shiraz but the server came back to say they were out of that also. I ended up drinking unsweetened ice tea with lemon. Today I will be having valpolicella ripasso with dinner and maybe a glass before dinner.

I’ve heard it’s Brandy, Jagermeister, and paint thinner over in Packer land.

On the other hand, I don’t thing there is anything strong enough to handle the current Vikqueens squad.

It depends; sometimes it’s beer, but if it’s wine I usually opt for CA Pinot Noir or Syrah.
