Grilled Salmon with a scallion, ginger, lime jalop “sauce.” Arugula pesto pasta. Zucchini with some jerk seasoned smoked pork belly. I guess we could call it uncured bacon.
Sharp Cheddar that I was too lazy to grate, so put a block in the mini food processor.
The boy’s Lebanese crew is coming over tonight for shish Tawook and vermicelli rice. A few apps to slow them down.
Had to work a little late. Broiled salmon, green curry vegetables and some sticky rice. Salad with some roasted sesame dressing to start. Used some green tomatoes in the curry sauce Hihh went well

Seared chicken thighs (put a heavy pot of water over it to crisp), salad with cucumber, avocado and first Cherokee’s of the season. Blanched then torched some wild asparagus (never have seen this, they were about 2’ long before trimming), chilled with lemon, evoo, s&p before serving.
Batter looks bonkers! I need that chicken with some bubbles in my life so bad right now.
