Sounds like something right up my alley.
rack of lamb with an herb mustard crust, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob. Pretty tasty with last night’s Volnay. And pretty simple to make.
Corn on the cob in January?
yes, weird, and surprisingly good.
Garlic studded roast pork on white bean (with smoked pork jowl & epazote) purée, carrots roasted w/meat topped with field greens in a creamy vinegary dressing
Kosher chicken hot dogs, Heinz beans, hot sauce, vidalia onion relish, over a toasted English muffin. Yum!!!

Roast chicken - mandarin orange, honey, garlic, tomato paste, spices
Was going to pair with a Riesling but it didn’t make it past snacks… Weissburgunder it is.
These are delicious. I’ve already eaten two this morning.
The recipe is from Constellation Inspiration’s website. “My Favourite Choc Chip Cookies”
How good can they be if you’ve only eaten two?
Self control!
I am gifting them.
I made another batch a few days ago, and those are pretty much gone.
Looks terrific, and what a superb wine!!!
Tried out homemade mozzarella for the first time. Not as difficult as I thought it would be to make at home, making it into balls takes a bit of practice though, that water is hot!
Even for the first time it’s way better than the brands in the grocery store. The first one I tried was cold on the outside and still warm inside and was so good!
