Péhu-Simonet Fins Lieux #1 2015, Disg:01/2023
Nod to @Patrick_Taylor when I drink this

Philippe Lancelot Fond du Bateau 2019
This was precise and driven but wasn’t helped by following the Péhu.
And for the non-bubbly:
Sociando-Mallet 1996
I had seen some conflicting tasting notes on this. I think the input was from @Julian_Marshall and @Claus_Jeppesen. This bottle was singing! Nose of cigar tobacco, leather, dark berries, dried herbs and plums. The palate was zingy and lively! Fresh acidity, perky tannins, plenty of fruit remaining on medium concentration with a long finish on tertiary notes. Beautiful! Served with smoked Diots de Savoie, saucisson à cuire de Lyon and Crozets au Reblochon.
Chandon de Briailles Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Fourneaux 2017
Love this producer. This was lovely. Not Îles des Vergelesses lovely but lovely.
