As I am sure that many here have plenty of used corks around their homes, I thought you may be interested to know the retail value of your “collection”.
Apparently there is a market for used corks, and not just ones with birds on them.

I hope they are not being used to bottle, but rather “cork” projects.
For cork artists, here’s a castle. Purists might complain that corks were cut to compose this.
(if it had been built out of used DIAM30’s it would last a lifetime)
Here’s a cork wall art I did a while ago (borrowed the design from something I found online). It hangs near our front door. At the time, I didn’t have enough corks, and had to purchase a box of additional ones from someone on eBay.
Also no wet doggie smell
hey thats more than I thought they were worth TBH
The last thing I need to buy are corks. I wonder what Champagne cages are trading for?
Not much, but capsules can get into hundreds of euros.
Really? Do tell! Who buys them and what do they use them for? I’ve heard of cuff links but…what else?
This champagne capsule artwork was 6 years in the making…
Once every two years, Champagne cap fanatics (a.k.a. placomusophiles) gather at the Mondial de la Capsule. This time, they were treated to a monumental piece from Christian Marillier and Bernard Launois. In Wine Spectator's Unfiltered.
I have been collecting corks for decades. Here is a recent project, my “Corkupine” light fixture. Not a duplicate cork in the bunch. Includes four “flicker-flame” LED lamps. A favorite game for our guests is “how many corks?”. What’s your guess?
Not bad money. I have 1,000 and would love to get those prices.
