1968 Lindeman’s Bin something Semillon, Hunter Valley
1982 Penfold’s Grange
1955 d’Arenberg d’Arry’s Original
1995 Peter Michael Chardonnay Clos du Ciel
1978 Phelps Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon
Lots of cabs on these lists. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is such a generic grape.
2007 Carlisle Montafi Zin (only one bottle left, sigh)
2008 Rhys Skyline Pinot (shockingly great)
2005 SQN Ode to E Syrah (my fave during my brief SQN fling)
1991 Heitz Martha’s Vineyard Cab (like drinking Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies)
1998 Fox Creek Reserve Shiraz (man I drank a ton of Shiraz back in the day)
Interesting to see the unicorn Penfolds Bin 60A pop up a couple times. Nice work! I’m holding my precious 2 bottles of the 2004 version for a while yet.
1991 Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet. Still a baby last year.
1994 Dominus. My first wow moment with Napa.
1991 Wynns Centenary Cab-Shiraz. A classic.
2005 Leeuwin Art Series Chardonnay. Blind, against an absolutely stellar lineup and in front of a knowledgeable crowd, it was WOTN by a fair margin. Power and precision.
2006 Escarpment Kupe Pinot. Good Martinborough pinot (and there’s a fair number of them - love the Martinborough Estate call) is a perfect palate match for me.
Looking forward to getting into my slowly growing stash of Wendouree in coming years.
1974 Heitz Martha’s (sentimental reasons and because it is very good)
2001 Dominus
2002 SNQ Just for the Love of it
2001 Pride Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
1994 Harlan
1997 Harlan
1975 Phelps Eisele Cabernet Sauvignon
2001 Abreu Thorevillos
1978 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon (Hillside but not mentioned on the label)
2001 Shafer Hillside Select
