Not sure where to put this, so I guess I’ll just drop it here. My previous username was “Eric White”, but was unrecognized by this system. Also, my email address was unrecognized, so password recovery didn’t work. I wound up having to re-register entirely. not a big deal, but fyi.
Your username is Eric_White - you’ll want to keep that one, as it has all your activity/posts etc
The new system doesn’t allow for spaces or special characters in the username, ergo the underscores - you can also log in with your email address, which is in the system (but I won’t post here) as probably an old one, so you’ll want to log in and update that

Can we change our username? What will the username/signature requirements be?
Yes, but no special characters allowed, you can substitute with numbers and spaces have to be underscores - it will guide you in what is allowed and what is not

Do we have to PM you to change it or can we change it from our profile?
Can I change my username myself, or do I need to involve an admin? If I can do it myself, can someone point me to the right screen to do that?

It doesn’t seem like we’re able to change it, only our real name.
@ToddFrench any way to change the colors as linked names and quoted portions come up crimson for me and I cannot see them on mobile?

The old site automatically marked threads I had posted in. The new site does not appear to do so. Is there any way to cause it to do so?
I had a very long post in the old site organized using spoiler tags. I see they are no longer there.
Even worse, I don’t see any way to edit the post. Editing the first post in a thread to update for information posted later is a very common WB thing (such as in the Barolo style thread.
Are there solutions proposed to both these issues?

On another forum I’m on using this same software we have it set so the OP can edit the first post until the end of time. So it’s probably just a setting that needs to be tweaked.
