Jim, if you can find a local farmer who will let us buy a whole pig and we can locate a cooker I could handle the cooking (not sure of regulations around this, I am used to rural Missouri). This requires a substantial amount of bourbon however.

I am in, whenever, where ever (ok, not harvest time). I’ve never attended a Berserkerfest, though I’m met many fellow Berserkers over the years. But Todd is absolutely, once we get past this, we need a big meet up and maybe more than one.

The most disappointing aspect to this forum is that I can’t meet up with everyone! I’m in for sure!
Oregon summer weather is pretty perfect, just saying… and I think we can find a bit of wine, and maybe there are a few vineyards around : )
PDH Midtown has a beautiful unheated open air shack for outdoor dining, perfect for the current 25 degree weather.

Wow, when all this global pandemic b.s. is over, we need another freakin’ BerserkerFest!! Or two or three!
(putting this in Wine Talk as it needs more attention…nobody checks Offline Planner when we don’t have Offlines!)
It would be really awesome to have some coordination and set some of these up once it’s safe to gather again!

Matters not. I’m sure I had a hand in stirring that particular pot. I’m sure we all up here in the land of rain, mushrooms and bears can find a way to entertain the lot of you bastards and bastard-ettes (honestly, didn’t know what to go with there but certainly don’t want to leave out the female bastards). Me next door neighbor owes me two, two I say!, fine pig roasts for the rent of his sows grazing on me property. You think Beaux Freres is just a winery, do you? No, they raise some fancy pork over there. Large animals like from the movie Hannibal. I can see one of those, at least, being a feast for you wine addled fiends.
