Wax capsules normally adorn large bottle of Statement Wines.
Can’t remember ever seeing one on a half bottle, much less a half bottle of village Chablis, but
I vaguely remember one bottle from this producer, half a dozen years ago, a Premier Cru (Vau de Vey?). Good but nothing striking.
Comments on the producer and packaging? This bottle was a gift. Thanks.
Perhaps the thank you card should use your signet on wax seal to close it?
I bought some 2020 grand cru a few years ago but stuck them in offsite storage so haven’t tried one yet. The writeup on the domain and posted notes seemed compelling enough for me to buy. I suspect the fact that it was a Kermit Lynch import was part of my blind buy calculus.
