Walla Walla planning question

Help please!

  1. Are they open on Thanksgiving weekend? (when is spring release?)

  2. Good places to eat / live in the region?

  3. Long Shadow - by invitation? or tasting room open?

  4. Any recommendations beyond the list below?

  5. If I want to spend 4 days visiting the list below, what’s a reasonable order (location/travel time etc?) or if you guys know any of these that don’t have rooms?

  6. Pls confirm - Cayuse/Leonetti/Abeja - they don’t do any tasting of any sort huh? no way to call for appointment etc?

Thank you everyone!!

List:
K Vintner
Chateau Rollat
Buty
L’Ecole
Corliss Estate
Long Shadow
Pepper Bridge
Nicholas Cole
Sleight of Hand
Spring Valley
Woodward Canyon
SYZYGZ
Waters

A good list to visit. For Chateau Rollat choose their south side tasting room because they rent space at Trust Cellars and they both pour in one tasting room. Trust is a must. In fact the whole south side of Walla Walla is my favorite. Gifford Hirlinger, Va Piano and Saviah are in this part of town along with Waters and Pepper Bridge from your list.

Many are open on Thanksgiving weekend, I was there last year on Saturday of the holiday weekend. Hours may not be as advertised, call first.

Your list is good
But, above all, eat at Saffron

have fun
Break the place up (walla walla) into the natural sections (airport, downtown…etc - plenty of wine maps)

BTW, see if you can get zach at Syzygy to part with a pair of the orange panties.
