Thanks to help from the board, was able to contact someone at the old Vintrust (not Vinfillment).
They claim to have never received my order from Rudius. Anyone else have wine get lost due to to them going out of business?

no. The wine was dropped off at Vintrust by the winery. The folks at rudius have been great, answering all of my questions. Vintrust handled several wineries orders, including some of my Maybach purchases, which I got no problem before they went under.
I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience and how it was or wasn’t resolved. Next time I am in napa, I’m gonna walk right into the place and be a pain in the ass until someone kicks me out. I’m not out a ton of money, but love their 05 grenache. So it’s more about lost drinking opportunities
Might also shoot mike smith an email, since he is at tamber bey and the owner also owns what is left of vintrust.

Did Rudius get a signature for the package?

Without a sig, Vintrust can just say, “We never saw that.”
Jones Family sent some wine to Vinfolio in Nov last year and Vinfolio could not find them. (don’t know whether they went through Vintrust). They might still be investigating, but Jones Family already sent me replacement. I am a Jones Famiy buyer from now on.
