This topic has been beat up pretty well here. RMP decided to ramble about the serpents that should be purged from the Emerald Isle (well, maybe his isle), forgot to include useful identification criteria and seems ready to sweep up a fair number of non-reptiles in the process.

Yup…quite an interesting read and a very well-thought response to Parker’s absurd rant.
Pretty much captures my feelings…but I doubt I’d have bothered to waste such energy in penning such a response.
