Hello Berserkers! I am grateful to be participating in my first Berserker Day on the Berserker Business side of things! It has been a dream of mine to be in this space for some time now, and it certainly was with the help of some Wine Berserkers, that I am now here, the proud owner of The Village Wine Merchant in Sea Cliff, NY. We are just getting our shipping up and running, and for now, only in NY. Shipping/ delivery will take place before the end of March, and likely much sooner than that. For any of you that know me, you know I have an Italian lean, but love to explore widely, and that is no different now at the Village Wine Merchant. As a retailer, we are fairly unique. We don’t focus heavily on natural and/or organic, though we of course prefer organic wines, whether labeled as such or not. We also don’t focus heavily on high end brand recognition, though of course we love Château Margaux, Jean-Louis Chave, Biondi-Santi, Bartolo Mascarello, and the like, but what we do focus heavily on is quality, wherever we can find it!
