Dear boss:
I know that this is a long way from now but I am requesting a vacation day on Friday, January 27, 2012.
Yesterday your four hour staff meeting and the prospect meeting which followed caused me to miss many, many, many great wine deals. This is unacceptable so next year I will take a vacation day.
