USA Network’s show “White Collar” must have someone on the writing staff that is into wine. Last year, I think a bottle of Kosta Browne (I memory serves - correct me if I’m wrong) made it into an episode. In last Tuesday’s episode, there was a reference to a Jayer Echezeaux. Anybody else catch this? It might be fun to keep a list of specific wines referenced in the show.

Forget about it. Who could pay attention to anything but the leading man on that show? I would have to say that guy has universal good looks. When my daughter and I see him on the screen, we just stop and stare. 
Too bad he plays for the other side.

I did not say I intended to marry the guy, nor did I think we were choosing teams. I merely commented that he is absolutely gorgeous - showstopping gorgeous.
I didn’t intend to hijack the thread, which was wine-oriented and I got…well…disoriented. Sorry about that. A good looking guy can do that to a woman.
He is nice to look at, but I admit when I watch the show I’m always trying to catch the label on the bottle! And, they use nice wine glasses, too!
I always try to peek at the label too. Mozzie seems to be the wine drinking lush while Neil is content to join him.

I was just laughing with my wife about me having a better chance with him than she does.
It seems to be something thrown in by the writers and under the radar, as it could easily fit Neal’s persona as a sophisticated creature. They seem satisfied by just sticking a bottle of red in there for most occasions though.

Penny, who is supposedly always broke had a bottle of Pahlmeyer on the kitchen counter as one of her guzzling wines. It cracked me up.
Mozzie was drinking a DRC La Tache in the season finale in his hospital bed. I will gladly get poisoned to recover with some La Tache!
I’ll gladly get poisoned to share a bottle with Mr. White Collar. Could even be Riesling.
