UOVO Wine Opens in South San Francisco

We are delighted to announce that our new wine storage facility located at 1355 Lowrie Ave in South San Francisco (close to SFO) is now open.

As with our other locations throughout the US, we offer collectors in the Bay Area a full suite of services including pickup, detailed inventory, and delivery.

UOVO, pronounced “woh-voh,” is derived from the Italian word for egg, a symbol of fragility. Our name reflects UOVO’s core mission to be the finest stewards of our clients’ most precious art, wine, and fashion collections, taking the utmost care in transporting, maintaining, and storing everything we are entrusted with.

If you are interested and want to know more, please go to our web site or contact me directly here.

Not a storage customer, but you guys should offer a “Local Pick-up Option” for boxes on your website.

Drop by their facility during business hours and they will sell you boxes.

A suggestion. Being open only during business hours (M-F 8-4) will be inconvenient for many who might want to avail themselves of your service. I’m retired so accessing my locker isn’t as time-critical. However, occasionally I need to grab a bottle on the weekend. When I was working, there’s no way I could or would take a couple of hours away from my job to get bottles and/or do some rearranging.

I am aware.

The Napa facility is open a for a few hours on Saturday (which is when I typically go). I wonder whether SSF will add saturday hours eventually.

Apparently their niche is not for wine nerds who like to physically manage their own wine, but more as a customized helping-hand service, like Vinfolio.

They do both. They offer both managed and un-managed storage.
