UOVO Wine Acquires Vino Vault

Good afternoon all,

Happy to share this information with everyone as the press release will go out today. Happy to answer any general questions here, but anything more specific and personal I would probably connect you to our CEO or COO to discuss offline.

This is our press release-

UOVO, the premier provider of storage and service solutions for Art, Fashion and Wine, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Vino Vault. The combination of UOVO Wine with Vino Vault, enhances UOVO Wine’s nationwide footprint and enables it to bring its full suite of top-quality services to Vino Vault clients.
With this acquisition, UOVO Wine will add to its existing portfolio the established Vino Vault facilities in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Houston, and Denver, re-branding them under the UOVO Wine name. This expansion further solidifies UOVO Wine’s position as the storage and service provider of choice for wine collectors across the nation.

With three sites in Los Angeles, UOVO will more easily service new and existing clients across Southern California. A location in Port Chester, New York will provide a new level of convenience to clients in New York City, Long Island, and Connecticut. Additional facilities in Dallas, Houston, and Denver will strengthen UOVO’s presence throughout the Western and Southern regions of the United States.

The newly acquired Vino Vault facilities will now offer UOVO’s unparalleled level of white glove management, transit, and advisory services. Benefits include access to a national advisory team to assist with buying, selling, or organizing a home cellar; a concierge pick-up program ensuring convenient
temperature-controlled shipping between locations and from wineries and retailers; managing wine importation; on-site facility lounges and tasting events; and preferred access to rare wines and in-house online offers through UOVO’s Cellar Trading retail program.

Nick Coslov, Co-Founder and Board member of UOVO commented that “The acquisition of Vino Vault demonstrates our commitment to expand and evolve our wine management services and locations to meet our clients’ needs. We are excited to share our expertise and services with clients in these established wine collecting communities.”

Jeff Stein, Chief Executive Officer of UOVO Wine stated, “We are thrilled to expand our wine services and resources to existing and new clients. UOVO Wine’s top priority is to provide high quality and innovative solutions to wine collectors across the country. We are dedicated to expanding our network so that our client’s collections will always be within reach.

As a Vino Vault customer, I’ve been waiting for the acquisition to close. I hope you shitcan Wine Owners ASAP; it is irredeemable dogshit. The biggest problem with Vino Vault was that it was run by people who knew fuckall about wine.

Thanks for the feedback!

I can definitely connect you with Paul (our COO) about Wine Owners. He’s got huge amounts of feedback already, but has been pushing them to make it better and can probably better speak to any future plans.

You won’t have the second problem any more! There’s countless people through out the company with huge experience. More importantly, we always try to hire the highest caliber people we can.

Congratulations and best of luck Ian (not something I thought I would ever say to a UX/Bengals fan )

awesome. When can we have wine dropped off or picked up ?

Thanks, Ian. I’d love to connect with someone who can discuss the database platform and address its shortcomings, which are significant and very problematic from a consumer storage customer viewpoint.

Congrats on the acquisition; I was planning to move my cellar after Jeff Smith deplaned, but will wait a bit to see how it goes with Uovo.

We will have a bit of a transition period, but we will be able to pick wine in all of those markets and transfer it to you.

Congratulations, Ian!

Does acquiring new locations in anyway benefit legacy customers? E.G., a tasting room in Manhattan…

Yes, we will have our pick up services available for wines for all the markets.

So if you buy something from Heritage or Spectrum in LA, we will be able to transfer to the NJ warehouse fully temp controlled.

have you seen Manhattan rent lately?

P.S. Invite going out tomorrow for an event at the NJ warehouse next month!

Can you switch over to Vino Vault’s box supplier? The boxes from Vino Vault hold more types of wine bottles (at least the flat 6s and 12s).

Thanks and good luck.

I will pass that along!

Where in NJ are you located?

Warehouse is in Edison!

Just received the email to Vino Vault customers.
