Although it says Phase 3 wines are shipping “in 6-8 weeks,” several people here report already having received wines from Phase 3. One of my cases is en route and the other is not yet showing as scheduled. Perhaps 6-8 weeks is their anticipated completion date for shipping.
Started to get notifications that my orders were shipping this week. Was a little worried as one of my first orders was for only 9 of the 12 bottles. With that said, 2 of those bottles in the case left out were magnums (Herman Story Grenache.) I did not pay any extra for shipping on those oversized wines. I just got an email this morning that those are now having a shipping label made up.
As of now there are a few more expensive bottles I would bite on if they reduced the price. With the rest of the inventory, there are a few things I would love to try but don’t want to take 6. If we get down to 3 I’m a buyer of a couple cases. One will probably be just sparkling wine.
I’ve received 4 of 5 phase 3 with the 5th arriving Monday.
Order dates were 1/29 (4) & 2/8 (1).
The OP or a Mod can edit the Subject Line to reflect this.
What K&L wine are you drinking today. I see Robert’s point.

Seems like several have already received Phase 1,2,3. For the price, the 4 cases coming my way will be on my pouring schedule shortly after arrival. Would appreciate feedback on any bottles received to date on this thread…condition (Label, Fill, Tasting Notes, etc.).
Not remotely the same.
This is a one off liquidation scenario. A dog’s breakfast of one off labels, private labels and established producers.
It would be more of a “was it worth it” or “ how good of deal, or not”.
I refrained from buying, even with the heavy discounts. I’d be interested to know what the value play ended up being.
I received the following older vintage UC wines this week and will open them today and over the weekend. I’ll let you know if they’re any good. The lower price is what I paid and the higher is the supposed MSRP. Considering all were below $10 and from well known producers, I doubt that I will be disappointed.

Norm, I snagged a case of the Trione Zin too!
I’ve just got a single of the Trione and 14 other wines that I snagged the first few days of stage 3. You must have known it would be good. I just went through the list and picked wines from wineries I’ve tried before that were good.
Where will you store the 30 cases you have on the way? I rent a wine locker and its already full. I’m on a waiting list to move to a 35 case locker. Rent will be about $800 a year. How much is wine locker rent in your area?
The 30 cases that I ordered is not all for me, I just do the ordering. To be honest, I hope that I am left with only 5-8 mixed cases of everything that I ordered when it is all said and done. I buy wine for some wine hungry neighbors since I know my stuff and shop the deals. I have only tasted two of the wines that I ordered, but have done a TON of research (and enjoyed it) to pick the other 28. Going to do that tasting party/sale that I previously mentioned to get rid of a lot of it!
I rent two wine lockers (temp controlled), but it’s a really crappy UHaul facility for $37 a month. Each one fits 16-17 cases, sit it costs me about $1.25 per bottle per year! Cheers!
One wine I need to throw out:
2016 Leonard Muddy Arch blend is $3.75. Its pretty well reviewed and they are basically paying you to take it.
I don’t see that on UC anymore. How much did you pay for it? There’s some at Grocery Outlet for $20 and it will be 20% off starting Monday and for the following 10 days. I checked it out online and it seems to have pretty high ratings.
$10. Still in the decanter as I type…
2016 Trione WInery Flatridge Ranch Zinfandel - tonight’s tasting notes,
Decanted 2+ hours ago and has not changed since then. A little aroma and fruit left after 8 years. Still more enjoyable than any $8 mass market wine. If it changes later, I’ll edit my post.
I’ll be waiting for your review to decide if i should buy.
Crap, I didn’t know I’d be put on the spot!
I can only speak for the '14, but I’d buy for $16.
Although the wine has high ratings, I’m interested in how it’s drinking now at 10 years. No pressure; I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t over the hill like the 2016 I had last night. The vintage at GO is the 2014; they must have dumped a lot of that vintage. Thanks for the advice.
