True Confessions

What is amazing is the taste memory. As soon as I took the first forkful the image of the kitchen of the house I grew up in was all around me. And I also had an immediate craving for a glass of milk (I never have milk with cake nowadays, always tea or coffee). It tasted good.

All in all, I got a lot more than my $3.99 worth.

The only problem is I still have 95% of the cake in the freezer.

when i was ~6, home alone with my younger brother… got the munchies so made us some Kraft singles and grape jelly on wonder bread. still love it

Huh? Please elaborate .

Ketchup on pasta.
Pasta with tuna and cottage cheese.
Pasta with melted butter and melted cream cheese and onion powder.

Ritz crackers dipped in bbq sauce.

Spaghetti, swedish meatballs, ketchup. Mix. Single mom dinner for us in the 70’s and 80’s and I still have to have it once in awhile. Delish. If my Italian father knew I ate that, he’d die on the spot… [wink.gif]

Marmalade cheese sandwiches still a thing to this day.
