We are hustling to finish our vineyard pruning. It always takes longer than we think it will. Rain has been hampering us this year. However. there’s always interesting things to see as the insects start to emerge and the variety of bird life returns. Soon after I pruned this barbera vine a “true bug” came to take a sip of the sweet water that is pumping through the vine. Nice brilliant red legs and I believe it to be in the “true bug” group. Not sure what it is yet but there are several in the vineyard.
