TNs: Two excellent Siduris

  • 2005 Siduri Pinot Noir Terra Di Promissio Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (2/12/2010)

Excellent nose of minerals, red cherry, and earth. In the mouth, racy and like a laser, cutting a sharp swath across your tongue with its tart red cherry, spice, earth, and mineral notes. Bracing acidity and a slight tart edge to the finish. I love acidity, and this is hitting the right notes with that. A-

14.1% alcohol. As with the prior two bottles, this is just plain delicious. A juicy, black cherry-laden wine with plenty of spice and earth to give it extra interest. Soft yet forceful on the palate. This is just so impressive, you really can’t say enough about it. A-

Tom,

Thanks for the notes. Looking forward to tasting the SC myself. Glad to see no issues with smoke taint. [thumbs-up.gif]

Had seven of the '08s last week with Adam…zero signs of smoke taint, and yes the SC was very good as well as the RRV.
