Seamless and expressive on the palate, with fresh black cherry and rich persimmon fruit, along with totally integrated secondary flavors of incense, cardamom, black tea, red florals and cedar spices. Refined and elegant, airy with great persistence and polish, showing taut, rounded acidity, and fine, deceptively structured tannins, finishing with juicy succulent length of blood orange and cracked pepper. Fresh & ripe on the palate, with intense expression of black raspberry & cherry, with integrated rosemary, five spice, black pepper, new leather, green tea, and allspice. Compelling flavors. Textured and full through the mid-palate with fleshy and plush density. Medium-plus acidity with thick, round tannins, finishing with full, zesty, mouthwatering length. A compelling vintage of this wine, at an integrated and expressive stage but with very youthful structure. Compelling aromatics and flavors. Bright, medium ruby color, clear. Pronounced aromatics of black raspberry & pomegranate, with fresh hibiscus, black pepper, fresh thyme, nutmeg, anise and green tea. Succulent and rich fruit on the palate, adding notes of red cherry and persimmon fruit, along with secondary five spice, white pepper, darker violet notes, melted stone. Firm core density, finessed and round, its acidity adding a juicy lightness, moving to fine dense tannins, then finishing with moderately long length of zesty red fruit and florals.
