TNs: '17 Heitz-Lochardet Perrieres, 05 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Chaignots

Chiselled, bright and punchy. Still very young, lemon drops, gunflint, glistening and energetic, more Puligny than Meursault at this stage. Right in my wheelhouse.

Quite stunning. It has so many layers and richness without heaviness. Still looking relatively young, but with gorgeous sweet fruit and energy. Vosne like spice. Silky texture and reverberating finish. Wish I had more.

sounds like a great night and brace of wines.

Not a lot of Heitz discussion here but I’ve liked what I’ve tried.

Heitz-Lochardet brand is now no longer, now Domaine Armand Heitz.
The few Heitz-Lochardet that I have had have been excellent (all from '17). Think it’s time to grab a few Armand Heitz.
