I can’t seem to find much info about this. I just got an offer at what may be a good price.
Anybody know this?
TIA

Don’t know much about them, but my impression is not very positive. I did not know they made a Brunate. There is no record of one in CT. If the price is really good, maybe try one bottle?
Hi Ken,
Do you have a negative impression based upon other bottlings from them? Bad producer?
You suggestion is fine, except the offer is for a six-pack.
Thanks.
Anyone?
Sorry, nothing specific that I can recall. I may have tried their wines at a tasting somewhere. And that could be quite out of date.
I’ve tried a number of San Silvestro wines over the years, and have always found them vapid; kind of the factory-farmed, anti-biotic laden cheap supermarket chicken of Piemonte, if you will. Yuck.
I really hate to knock producers, but these wines have always made me regret trying them.
That being said, I can’t recall tasting that specific Brunate Riserva
A wine becomes expensive the second it tastes cheap.
Thanks gents!
Tasted the wines a couple of years ago. If I was being kind I would say they were OK. Best of the group for me was the Barbera “Puella”.
