TNR: 2007 Outpost Cab's

Anyone try these? Thanks.

The True was stunning. I don’t have notes in front of me, but it was a take notice wine.

What Will said.

How does one get on the Outpost list?? I went to the website and filled out the Newsletter inputs. Does that put you on the mailing list?

Has the 2007 been released? I saw the 06 on the shelf at Wine Library recently.

Got the card today in the mail for the 07’s. True $85 Cab $65

I was looking at the Outpost offering, and realized that it barely caused a ripple on “the boards”. This made me think of the connection to the whole Cali/cult wine sales weakness article.

Two years ago, an 85 buck 98-pointer would have generated massive enthusiasm around these here parts. Now, a collective yawn.

I really look forward to getting the True, the '06 was great. It won’t be available for our store until about April. If none of you buy it mailing list, that means more for me flirtysmile

And we could not give away the True vineyard last year.

Daniel,
Very interesting. We had a hard time keeping it in stock last year and can’t give away some of the Imports you have no problem moving. Of course then January hit and now people aren’t beating down the door for '06, they are waiting for '07.

My clients know great wine! neener

Seriously, the True Vyd is great wine. I guess it gets mixed in as we have too many selections. I think we are at about 200 Cab/Meritage selections from the Left Coast. Too much.

Charlie’s Patch 2006 and 2007 has a WHOLE lot of True Vineyard fruit, if you read between the lines. TRB makes it, comes from a special vineyard up on Spring Mountain…hmmm…

hardy har har ! [pillow-fight.gif]

True Vnyd Cab I can sell. Two Hands I realize TRB makes the wine and the source but you already know my bitch about that whole thing.

If I liked it at $40, I’m going to love it at $25 neener

thought True Vineyard was on Howell Mountain?

Indeed it is.

Sorry, I meant Howell Mountain.

Too tired last night.

Likely story…

Gil posted that I was too tired. Probably lying.

I know where you can find an exceptional attorney that also happens to be a handy fellow at tennis as well.

Way to go…you from the finger lakes?
