I find some of Foley’s wine to be overoaked for my palate. I know The Palate likes them, but me, not so much.

I wouldn’t touch one of these for at least another year. Give it time to settle.

This is the first year that Bob didn’t come to the local distributor’s trade tasting in August. I loved the 05 that the “Palate” zipped with an 89. It is a terrific Merlot but oak was present until recently. If I could grab a couple of these for the low $40.00’s I might bite. Let me know if you see that price Otto. I was offered the wine today for $49.00
