TNR: 2005 Le Bon Pasteur

Just picked some up and interested in hearing peoples thoughts…have not tasted yet but will in the morning!

A little big and blowsy too me the first time I tasted it- showed some candied notes and a lot of fruit flavors. The second time I tasted it, which was much later it had soften a little, but it is certainly not my favorite Pomerol in '05. Should continue to improve for sure but, unless you got it at a steal, I wouldn’t go crazy. If I were attaching points it would be 89-90, which for this vintage is just okay I think. Hope that helps.

Thanks! Don’t have much Bordeaux and got this for $60 - thought is was a great price and jumped on some of it…
