Agree. Lambrays drinking well, particularly with some air, although better in 3-5 years. Haven’t had clos de Tart.

well, I like my burgs with more age on them but I have to say - the 01 Lambrays consumed a couple of months ago was really singing.

Tart is pretty closed (couple months ago) while Lambrays is much more accessible.

I like them both, although I think the Tart is a better wine.

IMHO.

The Lambrays is perhaps more "ready’ but I would pick either from my cellar to drink now without worrying too much.

I’ve always thought I was much more of a Lambrays than Tart fan, and that was certainly confirmed tasting both of the '01s on release. Didn’t buy Tart, but have really loved the Lambrays over the years. But I’ve more recently had older vintages of Tart and loved them, so maybe they just need 25+ years to be judged?

Bottom line for me: judgment reserved on the Tart, the older vintages are fantastic, but you can’t go wrong with '01 Lambrays, great wine.

What other vintages of Clos de Tart do you find to be ‘Great’?
