This is brief tasting note. Undrinkable. Obnoxiously high alcohol, super-candied fruit and almost nothing in the bottle that remotely resembles wine. 66 points

I was just talking about Red Car with another wino friend last night…wondering what happened to the label. Absolutely no buzz whatsoever after the death of Mark Estrin.

I bought the 02 Amou Fou Pinot on the strength of RP’s positive score and was sorely disappointed, drank 2 bottles and dumped the other 2. That wine led me to question Parker’s Pinot palate…

I had the '02 Amou Fou that I took to a blinded dinner in Houston last year…everyone’s guess was Central Coast Syrah and one guy even though SQN.

I have some of the fight and it’s a newbie’s heaven. Love the marketing and I’m still on the list but buy sporadically.
