It’s been over a year since my last bottle so thought I’d check back in with the '13. Aromas of citrus and green apple, grapefruit, grass, a bit of toastiness, a hint of coconut. Flavors follow the nose for the most part; the wine is tart and lively but soft, rich, and very giving. The carbonation seems a bit subdued from what I recall of the last bottle but it’s delicious with a long life ahead. Not quite in its prime yet, but a real pleasure to drink on a beautiful fall day in Chicago.
