Had the Chasselas from this producer last week and was pretty underwhelmed. This is a much more interesting red. Like most Suisse wines, a bit on the pricey side for what it is.

Hi Tom, amazing what the 3 tier system does to jack up prices. His PN is $16 ex cellar…which Chasselas did you have? His straight Féchy are never anything to write home about, but then again most entry level Chasselas are simple apero wines. His Brez and Bayel versions are usually a big step up. Made the comment to him once that Chasselas was not great for aging and Raymond wandered off and came back with a 40 yr old bottle of Chasselas and a chunk of 36 month Gruyère. That wine was very very good and I am holding back a bottle of '10 Le Brez to see where it goes.
