TN: NV Roederer Estate Brut

NV Roederer Estate Brut - Popped and poured. Medium intensity aromatics are rich and buttery caramel and cream with supporting notes of pear. Medium+ acidity supports medium intensity flavors of vanilla, apple, pear and yellow citrus. It has a nice fruit and carmel driven finish. The overall impression is of primary youthfulfness and vivaciousness. Im curious if this will age into more complexity or if its current sunny disposition is its apex state. B+. Its almost at the A- territory in terms of what I look for in wine but it lacks a touch of finesse and brightness (though in the scope of wine in general it is nicely elegant). Overall a great QPR and recommended.

Year after year, this is my go to domestic bubbly. At under $15 by the case, it’s a no-brainer.

I really like this wine year in and year out. I should drink more of it.

I pick up a half a case whenever it goes on sale. Great stuff, especially for the price.

+1
