  • NV Pinea Ribera del Duero Korde - Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero (11/13/2025)
    Brought by my dinner partner @Jidhin_R Bottle N° 04/2,132 a blend of 2023 and 2024 fruit.
    Tropical citrus florals, gardenia blooms and wet concrete up front. On the palate kinda Chenin-like with an oily honeyed citrus and green apple with that wet concrete minerality. Really started expanding after a couple hours. First time with this wine and I enjoyed it a lot. Perfect pairing for our Sashimi.

Pinea makes nice wines. One of their owners, Hugo, lives locally in Ft Worth and I always appreciate when he opens a bottle. Their Korde rosé is killer…deeper, more intense style.
