NV Jacquesson & Fils Champagne Cuvée No. 731 - France, Champagne (12/4/2011)
Disgorgement 1st quart. 2007. The fruit really seems to be opening up. Rich toasty brioche gives power to the front of the palate. Hard acidity keeps it balanced. Not a trace of sweetness. I am wondering if the base of the blend(59%)coming from 2003 that it helped bring the richness of fruit to balance out the low dosage. The bottle time has clearly let this express itself in a great way and there is no rush to finish them off. Excellent.
