NV Domaine Nowack Champagne Assemblage S. A. Extra Brut - France, Champagne (12/19/2022)
60% PM, 40% Chard...2017 base, with 40% reserves from 2012-16, 1.5 dos...I find this wine LOADED with energy at first...if ever a wine to decant...as it calms with air, it is all apple orchard and ginger! Not a lot of depth here...somewhat lean, and very sour(in good way though)...nice salty crushed rock, brioche, hint of mint...but MAN is this a pucker! See what some age will do... (92 points)

I really l iike Flavien’s wines. But not had the SA yet, Buz. Try Tuileries or Bauchets yet? Some at Thatcher still.

Just grabbed a few from this domaine to try too. Any experience with the fontinette or any of the cru origine bottlings?

Not with me. Just a few vintages of the Tuilerie and Bauchets.

PS…I think the Fontinette is the Meunier he makes. Been wanting to try that…need to find one. If you get one, try and post back.
