Tried this Viognier last night w/ DinDin:

  1. Jaffurs Viognier BienNacidoVnyd/SantaMariaVlly (14.8%) SantaBarbara 2021: Light gold color; strong fragrant Viog/pear/ripe peach some floral/carnations slight chalky/BienNacido light pencilly/oak quite attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy rather rich/lush strong Viog/pear/peach/floral/carnations/spicy light pencilly/oak slight chalky lovely balanced flavor; very long tart/tangy/rich/lush spicy/Viog/pear/peach/floral/carnations balanced finish that goes on & on; an absolutely beautiful restrained/elegant Viog that stays far away from DollyParton territory. $29.00 (SFW&S)

More tittlespirt from TheBloodyPulpit:

  1. We bought this wine last Summer on the Jaffurs Futures. When they arrived, I tried one of these fresh off the boat & thought it a bit tight & closed. In the intervening 6 months, it has really put on weight & evolved into a lovely primary expression of Viog. Not a lot of complexity yet but I see no reason this won’t evolve into something pretty special in 4-8 yrs.
