TN: Ferrari-Carano Cabernet Sauvignon 1994

Excellent example of why I hunt down every affordable 1994 Napa and Sonoma. A wonderful $20 recent quarry.
Black olives, blackberry fruit, herbs de Provence, glycerin, fennel twig embers, and iron-flecked clay. No oak, not even a sliver. Fresh acidity and sweet red cherry, like a young-in-barrel Sangiovese.

Victor,
I know there are many threads talking about other vintages as being more venerable during this era but, my personal experience always has had me ranking this vintage ahead of all others for cabs in North Cal.
