More girdlestrap from TheBloodyPulpit:
- This is the wnry of EnricoBertoz & LetiziaPauletto that specializes in Friuli style wines. Both hail from Friuli. Been a longtime friend of them when they first attended SteveMatthiasson’s RibollaFest. Med.gold color; lovely fragrant/perfumed light mineral/stony bit chalky/saline beautiful nose; lightly tart bit saline lovely fragrant Malvasia/bit muscatty light chalky/mineral bit floral/Malvasai some complex lovely flavor; very long/lingering fairly rich/lush finish that mimics flavor; less in-your-face Malvasia floral & the chalky Ribolla gives it somewhat of a character of a very good Friuli Malvasia d’Istriana. Should go out another 4-8 yrs.
Susan was a happy camper.
