Found two of these when I was searching thru my offsite lockers.
This is a very nice bottle of twenty year old California Cabernet. Nothing over the top, just nicely balanced with good fruit and acidity, aromas of dark fruit, underbrush and a bit of tobacco and a smooth layered finish. Still a touch of tannins on the finish but it went well with a grilled ribeye and some pesto pasta

That’s a heck of a Find!
My favorite California Cabernets have almost all been Araujo. Their 2005 is still my favorite Cab, but so many others over the years have been wonderful.
2005 Araujo Eisele came to mind for me too. One of the better modern Napa Cabs I have ever had.
Friend opened a 1998 Araujo earlier this year when we met up at a conference. Very tasty and I feel like it still had lots of time to develop.
