2024 Hillick & Hobbs Botrytis Cinerea Estate Vineyard
Opened by a friend. This is Paul Hobbs Finger Lakes property started in 2013. 100% Riesling harvested on October 24th. Whole cluster pressed and 95% barrel fermented. Deeper straw color in this dessert wine. Moderately sweet with balanced acidity. Aromatic with lovely tropical notes on the palate. Reminiscent of a slightly less sweet icewine. 93 points.
