- 2024 Extradimensional Wine Co. Yeah! Mourvèdre Old Vines Evangelho Vineyard - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Contra Costa County (3/3/2026)
I have been drinking Hardy Wallace’s Evangelho Mourvèdre since the 2014 Dirty & Rowdy. This 2024 is right there at the top of the heap with the 2018 D&R. The Evangelho depth is obvious, but this vintage also has a high note (AAAAAAHHHHH!!!…IYKYK) that lifts the wine into the stratosphere. Tannins are moderate and integrated, so no reason to avoid an early bottle. Get on the bus and enjoy the energy.

We chose this bus for its suitability for driving on parkways. This bus was in Cape May GSP 0.

Love this wine. I haven’t opened any vintage later than 2020. Happy to hear newer vintages are showing up well. Magic bottle year in and year out.

Thanks for the note, and also especially for submitting a lot with the wine to the Falltacular auction! I won it and was expecting to have to hold for a while. I’ll get the first bottle on deck for an early look.

The 2024 is one helluva Evangelho. It is up there with the 18 (and 21). It has a little more baby fat than the 18 and is just as bright
