Enjoying with with my sister and the Warden. @Kenny_McMahon1 slipped this to me as I headed out the door after an amazing tasting at the winery. Since there’s only 7 bottles in cellartracker assuming this hasn’t been released yet.
- 2024 Arabilis Chardonnay (Yellow Label) - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (10/25/2026)
This was a gift from Kenny. Color is very light yellow. Nose is showing ripe yellow, apple and just a touch of pear. Medium acidity on the palate and medium to light bodied. Fruit component is lean with pear and yellow apple for a delicate profile with an underlying baking spice component. Finishes very long, probably 30 seconds. From memory, I'm guessing the 2024 is slightly leaner than the 2023 but extremely clean.

Tasting Notes
Crisp, fresh, and dangerously quaffable, this wine leads with paw paw fruit on the palate (yes, it’s real—look it up) and juicy starfruit. The yellow carries more new oak in the blend, but it’s fully tertiary here, folded into the background rather than driving the wine. Sea-breeze and saline notes meet wet stone and vibrant acidity, with yellow peach and lemon curd rounding out the fruit. Structured underneath, with a salivating, quenching finish that lingers. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature, 56–58°F.
