Ho freaking hum, another killer bottle of vdF down the hatch! In the early going, this appears to be an especially strong vintage, at least in terms of the early enjoyment as well as its clear capacity to hold the fort for many years to come. As others have noted, loads of lemony citrus poured over cool river stones, crystalline, and an almost Sauvignon Blanc gooseberry poked out at times. And yet, this had a playful character, a touch of sweetness on the finish that really hit home for me. (93 points)
