2023 Once & Future Wine Zinfandel Frank's Block Teldeschi Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (4/2/2025)
Don't even ask me how these are with age...no clue as they are SO SO good young! I tend to suck them all down with in a few years. This Teldeschi is out of this world! ZIN perfume you wish you could wear...gorgeous liqueured and inky wild berry fruits, oozing with extraction, yet lifted with brightness and energy. So silky smooth and caressing with velvety seamlessness...one of my favorite things about these O/F wines...killer exotics of florals and spices...pronounced white pepper, sage brush, sandalwood...melts on the palate, then explodes the senses with spice box and florals galore through the long engaging finish. WOW wine...one of my favs to date from the start...wonder if I can up my order? (96 points)
