2022 Kinsman Eades, Aisana. Blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. These just landed the other day and I couldn’t wait to try it. I’m happy to say it’s as good if not better than what I was hoping for. Beautiful golden color and just a lovely nose of citrus and chamomile. On the palate, this is flat out delicious! When it first hit my lips I thought it might be sweeter than I expected but those fears are immediately replaced by a rush of lemon and floral tinged acidity that creates a really nice medium bodied mouth-feel and a slightly bitter/grassy note (in a good way) on the finish which adds intrigue. Very easy to drink but enough going on that you have to pay attention. I like this a lot right now but I bet it’s even better in 6 months to a year. Luckily I was able to snag 6 of these so I’m looking forward to finding out!
