    Immediately expressive with a high-toned nose of rose petal, raspberry and blood plum. The palate is deep, with some chalky chew. It is layered and savoury of nuance. Each sip invites another and there’s just enough flesh to protect the gums from its ample structure at this early juncture. The finish is long and commanding.

On my single encounter, the 2014, I really liked that it tasted more of Corton than of DRC. It may not represent superb VFM but that isn’t the point, really
